People tend to hold tension in different places in their bodies: some people feel a tremendous tightness in their shoulders and necks, whereas other people develop back pain or headaches.

Where do you hold tension in your body?

What have you done to relieve the pain? (For example, if you get tension headaches, do you go for the aspirin?)

What are some alternative methods you could consider for the pain or tightness?

Try the Progressive Muscular Relaxation .

How did this make your body feel?

If tension in the body continues to be a problem for you, you may want to consider a yoga class, getting frequent massages, or going to a wet or dry sauna. These "natural" methods are wonderful ways to chill out (or heat up), take a break, and breathe for a while.
