3-Dimensional Slider Puzzles

These puzzles involve blocks, balls, cubes, etc. that are moved to reach a particular pattern. In particular theses puzzles tend to involve movement that is beyond 2 dimensions. One way to think of many of them is that they are sort of a cross between Rubik cube type puzzles and 2-dimensional sliders.

3-Dimensional Slider Puzzle Types
Photo Category
Various Missing Link puzzles. Included are a special edition, some official
and some unofficial versions, two variations I made (one with 5 levels and
one with three levels) along with various keychain or necklace size versions.
Whip-it puzzles and clones. These have tiles like the Missing Link puzzles,
but typically have more than 4 columns.
Essentially Whip-it type puzzles around a pen.
Cylindrical sliders on cans. The Pepsi puzzle is a little different in
that the tiles are slanted and are not parallel to the puzzle base.
Sliders on mugs, all related to the Star Trek television series. Because the
sliding mechanism does not go through the handle, these are really 2-dimensional
sliders in terms of the mechanics of solving.
Ten Billion barrel puzzles.
Various Babylon tower puzzles, including a keychain version. A Smarties
version is also included.
Two Atomic Chaos puzzles, one unopened.
A 7-Color Magic Puzzle.
An unopened Rubik's Brain Racker puzzle. Next to it is what I believe to
be the basis for the idea of this puzzle. It is an Impossiball with one
one tile removed. By removing one tile the puzzle now becomes a slider
puzzle on a sphere.
A Back Spin and some variations. With a top and bottom layer they are
puzzles with a third dimension. In addition to the original Backspin
there is a Loophole and a Turn & Twist.
An unopened Rubik's Rings. It has the Rubik name but is essentially a
slider. In fact it is really a 2-dimensional slider, just twisted so
that the puzzle appears to be 3-dimensional.
Two Orb puzzles, one unopened.
A special limited edition Touchdown puzzle.
An Entrapment puzzle.
A Mindtwister puzzle.
Here are a collection of cube shaped puzzles with blocks or
balls where the object is to get a particular color or pattern
on each layer, side, or the entire exterior. Included is an
unopened BlackHole, an Inversion puzzle, a Challenge Limit,
Mad Marbles, and a Varikon's Box.
A Spongebob 3-d slider puzzle. Produced by Burger King and
used to promote the Spongebob movie.
A couple of 3 level puzzles, one unopened. These are 3-D because
there are 3 levels, one on each side and a hidden one in the middle.
Similar to the previous but with a 2x2 face rather than the 3x3
of the 3 Level puzzles.
An unopened CrossTeaser puzzle.
