2-Dimensional Slider Puzzles

The first slider puzzles were block sliders. Usually it consisted of wooden blocks which were contained in small box. Typically these puzzles have a hole or empty space into which pieces can be moved. More recent versions were often made of plastic and often came with multiple puzzles that could be solved.

Various versions of the 15 Puzzle.
Dad's puzzles are some of the more common of the older block slider puzzles.
Other names for this type of puzzle include: The Moving Puzzle, Leech Puzzle,
Humdinger Puzzle, and Eskimo Pie Puzzle.
Klotski is the general name I am using for these puzzles. The are similar to
Dad's puzzles but have a different original setup.
Let Me Through. Another variation on the small slider type puzzle.
Earthquale Block Puzzle: Still another variation on the small slider
block puzzle.
Ma's Puzzle. A slider with some "L" shaped pieces which makes it a little
bit more challenging. The name is obviously a take-off on the Dad's Puzzles.

A plastic slider, but this one has a interesting twist. To solve
the puzzle the 7 different animals need to placed so that no row
or column has more than one of each. This is a Latin Square pattern.
