Charles Dodgson was an English writer, mathematician and Angelican deacon. He is best known under the pen name "Lewis Carroll" as the author of "Alice's Adventure in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass". He wrote mathematics books in the area of logic and was renown for his word play.
