Meyer, Antoine (1801 - 1857)

Meyer was a Luxembourg mathematician and poet. He was an outstanding teacher working at the College Royal at Echternach, the Institut Gaggia, and Universite Libre de Bruxelles, and the Universite de Liege. He may be better remembered for his poetic works, being the first Luxembourger to publish a book, which consisted of six poems.
