Magnus, Albertus (1193/1206 - 1280)

Magnus was a German Catholic Bishop and Dominican friar and one of the top philosophers and theologians of the Middle Ages. His contribution to mathematics is primarily in a commentary on Euclid's Elements. He was made a patron of the natural scientists.
