Cavailles, Jean (1903-1944)

CJean Cavailles was a French philosopher and mathematican. He received his bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Ecole Normle Superieure and his doctorate from the University Paris. He was a lecturer at the University of Strasborurg. Cavailles was part of the French Resistane and was shot by the German Gestapo.
