Al-Khawarizmi, Muhammad ibn Musa (780 - 850)

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was a Persian mathematician, astronomer and geographer. He presented the first Arabic systematic solution to linear and quadratic equations and is considered one of the founders of algebra.
