using critical thinking for future tests
arrow
Frequently when students receive their marked-up tests back after a quiz or exam, they take a quick look at the grade and then either rejoice in their accomplishment or grimly put the test away, learning little from the experience.

This exercise requires that you evaluate the results of a test you recently took.

First, did you get the grade you deserved? Why?

Now, identify your strengths and weaknesses regarding the material covered. That is not necessarily how well you did on the test, but how well you knew the subject:

Now, evaluate your test-taking skills. For example, did you ace the essay questions while floundering on the multiple choice?

How can you apply critical and creative thinking towards your next exam?
