arrow
The purpose of this exercise is to introduce you personally to one of your instructors. This will give you practice in talking to faculty members. The interview will enable you to see what kind of people they are and what their expectations are of students.

what to do

You will need to print out this page to take to the interview. Select on of the instructors at the college. It can be one in a course you are now taking or it can be someone in a field that interests you. It can also be your faculty advisor.

Telephone the instructor to set up an interview time. Explain that you are doing this assignment for class. Ask if he/she can spare 10-15 minutes. Review the interview questions and make up some of your own. Note: Instructors are busy; be sure to limit the time to 10-15 minutes.
